• Make sure you visit Michelle at Kahve. Michelle & Gavin are well known in Mudgee circles. I met Gavin & Michelle when they were looking after the Oriental's kitchens. Home-made mayonnaise on a Mudgee pub steak sandwich! Says everything about their passion and sincerity.
• In addition to Kahve, Gavin's now looking after the kitchens at the Country Comfort (so that's where we'll be enjoying dinner every time we're back in Mudgee).
• Don't miss a meal at Deeb's, check for when he's open.
• And when we were based in Mudgee a week wouldn't go by when we didn't enjoy an honest meal at Rajarani. Great value, authentic, and best of all, they're also selling jars of their sauces so you can create your own dishes at home.
