Bookings & reservations: Cleaning, repair, and replacement policy:
  • Items contained within the house and grounds at Lauralla Guest House are for the use and enjoyment of all house guests.
  • We ask that guests take all due care.
  • House guests may be charged for any dry cleaning, carpet cleaning, repair, and or replacement for any damage that occurs during their stay.
Common areas and shared space:
  • House guests are reminded that Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant has some areas of shared space.
  • We would request that house guests consider needs of others, and not engage in behaviour that may cause offence, discomfort, or disturbance.
Cookies:
  • Cookies are small amounts of information that are sent to, and stored on your computer.
  • Cookies are utilised by most popular browsers, including Netscape and Microsoft Explorer.
  • Cookies may be used by Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant to identify you when you visit our site, and to make the site more convenient for you.

Deposits & cancellations policy:
  • All reservations made direct by phone require a 50% (of total reserved amount) deposit.
  • Reservations cannot be held without deposits in lieu.
  • A booking request, or an enquiry is not considered a confirmed reservation until a deposit is received.
  • In the event of cancellation or transfer of reserved dates any refund of the deposit will be provided based upon the following schedule:
    • Where notice of cancellation is provided with more than thirty (30) days prior to scheduled arrival we reserve the right to provide a full refund of the deposit less a 10% administration fee.
    • Where notice of cancellation is provided between thirty (30) and twenty-one (21) days prior to scheduled arrival we reserve the right to provide a full refund of the deposit less a 25% administration fee.
    • Where notice of cancellation is provided between twenty-one (21) and fourteen (14) days prior to scheduled arrival we reserve the right to provide a full refund of the deposit less a 50% administration fee.
    • All reservations must be cancelled before 6.00pm local time, at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled arrival in order to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the full tariff or the full package price quoted.
    • Where notice of cancellation is provided between fourteen (14) and seven (7) days prior to scheduled arrival, we reserve the right to retain the full deposit paid.
    • The purchase of travel insurance is always recommended. Please contact your travel agent for more information.
  • Deposit transactions may be concluded by personal cheque, bank cheque, and money order with prior arrangement subject to the following conditions:
    • Reservation requests will be held for a maximum of three working days without payment.
    • Should a deposit not be received within that three day period, the reservation request may be deleted without any further notice.
    • IMPORTANT: Reservations are not confirmed, and the room is therefore not secured,until all funds have been cleared.
    • The cheque must clear bank at least seven (7) working days prior to arrival. This process is outside the control of Lauralla Guest House, and we cannot be held liable for lapsed reservations.
    • Deposits by cheque will only be accepted where the accommodation reservation is at least thirty (30) working days in advance of the day of arrival.
Family policy:
  • One fixed, imperial size, single bed is available for children sharing a room with parents.
  • A maximum of one child, twelve (12) years of age and over, sharing this room with parents can stay based upon the payment an additional $85.00 per night.
  • Folding beds, rollaway beds, and cots are not available.
Functions:

Gift vouchers
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • The validity of gift vouchers will not, and cannot be extended beyond the stated validity date.
  • Gift vouchers are not transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.
  • Bookings must be made at least 14 days in advance of arrival.
  • Bookings are awalys subject to availability.
  • Gift vouchers are only issued by Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant. They are not issued by any other party.
  • A gift voucher may only be used once.
  • To purchase a gift voucher simply contact Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant to arrange payment.
  • Gift vouchers will include a message of your choice.
  • Gift vouchers are provided as a PDF document transmitted by e-mail.
  • If the gift voucher is issued for a greater amount than value being redeemed in any one booking, then Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant will generate a new gift voucher for the balance.
  • Once a reservation using a gift voucher is confirmed all standard terms and conditions apply.
  • Special conditions may apply to a gift voucher. These conditions are confirmed with the purchaser prior to sale, and confirmed in writing on the gift voucher Special conditions may relate to use over scholl holiday periods, mid week and weeknd usage, duration at stay, and inclusions.
  • Gift voucher holders will be charged directly for any additional expenses above and beyond the value of the gift voucher.
Grapevine Restaurant (general conditions):
  • The Grapevine restaurant opens at the discresion of the management.
  • Some variations to the menu may occur based upon seasonal availability.
  • All prices include GST.
  • A ten percent (10%) surcharge applies on Sundays and Public Holidays.
  • Separate bills are not provided.
  • Where a separate bill is specifically requested a five percent (5%) surcharge may be applied to each and every individual payment.
  • Cheques are only accepted with prior arrangement.
  • The restaurant is fully licensed.
  • BYO is available for wines only.
  • Wines served as part of the degustation menu are served in 75 ml measures.
  • We provide free corkage for the wines of the Central Ranges.
  • We reserve the right to charge a $10.00 per bottle corkage fee for wines from outside the region.
  • We also reserve the right to charge a $4.00 per person charge should any additional glassware be requested.
Grapevine Restaurant (group conditions):
  • A group is defined as six (6) people or more.
  • A twenty percent (20%) deposit to confirm the reservation is required.
  • We reserve the right to retain the full deposit amount should the reservation be cancelled seven (7) working days of the date reserved.
  • Final numbers are to be confirmed at least five (5) working days prior to the date reserved.
  • An invoice will be prepared for an amount that equals the total payment for the final number as confirmed, less any deposit.
  • For groups of ten (10) people or more this invoice will be provided prior to the date reserved and payment in full is required in advance.
  • Advance notice of at least twenty four (24) hours would be required should you wish to increase the size of your booking once final numbers have been confirmed.
  • Payments can be made by credit card (Bankcard, Master Card, or Visa) over the phone, or by direct deposit.
  • Our direct deposit details are available upon request.
  • Separate bills are not provided.
  • Where separate bills are specifically requested a five percent (5%) surcharge will be applied to each and every individual payment.
Groups policy (Guest House):
  • Reservations requiring four (4) rooms or more are considered a group reservation.
  • The group will be provided with a house booking that will secure the entire guest house for the groups’ exclusive use.
  • A fifty percent (50%) deposit to confirm the reservation is required.
  • In the event of cancellation or transfer of reserved dates deposits are not refundable or transferable.
  • Final numbers are to be confirmed at least thirty (30) days prior to the date reserved.
  • An invoice will be prepared for an amount that equals the total payment for the final numbers as confirmed, less any deposit.
  • No further changes to the rate quoted, or invoiced amount will be entertained once final numbers are confirmed, and the invoice is issued.
  • Where a group opts to pay separate bills at the time of check out the invoiced amount will be divided equally between the group unless another formula is requested and agreed at the time the invoice prepared.

  • By making your travel purchase on our online booking engine, you are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology utilised by most popular browsers, including Netscape, Safari, and Microsoft Explorer through encryption, the personal information you enter, including your name, address and credit-card information, is converted into code that is then securely dispatched over the Internet.
Online reservations:
  • The online booking engine used by Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant is provided by a third party.
  • By making your travel purchase via the online booking engine, you availing yourself of special rates that may only available online.
  • Online reservations require payment in full at the time of reservation.
  • Standard cancellation policy applies to all online reservations.
  • Once an original request has been processed changes and amendments to these reservations cannot be made online. Changes and amendments to reservations can be made direct by e-mail, or by phone.
  • Changes and amendments to reservation may attract a further $50 booking amendment fee.
Pet and Guide Dog policy:
  • Animals are not accepted unless assisting guests with disabilities in which case the animals are accommodated free of charge.
Pre paid policy:
  • Pre-approved travel agent or pre-approved company vouchers are also accepted.
  • Please refer to the terms and conditions of the booking agency for more information.
Purchase policy:
  • Items contained within the house and grounds remain the property of Lauralla Guest House. Items including (but not limited to) towels, robes, magazines, books & newspapers, soft furnishings and decorator items are accounted for on, or shortly after, the time of guest check out.
  • Items not accounted for will be considered “purchased” by the guest and the items charged (without any further notice) to the credit card provided.
Referral competition:
  • Information on how to enter this competition forms part of the Terms and Conditions of entry.
  • By entering into Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant's competition you agree to abide by the terms and conditions.
  • Entry is open to residents of New South Wales only. Employees of Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant, their immediate families are excluded.
  • Eligible entries will be printed and placed into a barrel for drawing. The location of the draw will be the Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant offices at 25 Lewis Street, Mudgee NSW 2850.
  • The winner will be drawn at random from the barrel.
  • Prize winners must be over the age of 18.
  • Unless otherwise specified, the competition commences on the 17th of April 2006 at 00:01 (EST) and concludes on the 30th of November 2006 at 23:59 (EST). .
  • The maximum value of the prize is $2,000. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other prizes. .
  • The prize must be redeemed in full within six months of the date the winner of the competition is drawn. The prize is subject to availability and cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  • Prize value is calculated based on the standard weekend rack rate as published by Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant and is correct at the time of publishing.
  • To enter: Entrants are required to click through an advertising box displayed on random pages at http://www.lauralla.com.au that points to a specific web page (http://www.lauralla.com.au/refer.php), or through a text link in e-mail messages that points to a specific web page (http://www.lauralla.com.au/refer.php). Entrants are then required to complete an online form by nominating up to four people, together with valid e-mail addresses for those people. Upon completion of the form entrants are required to click the submit button at the end of the entry form.
  • Each completed form constitutes one entry.
  • Multiple entries from the same person are permitted provided each form contains a different set of names and valid e-mail addresses..
  • There is one prize only. The first eligible entrant drawn will win a 2 night stay over a weekend for up to five couples at Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant as per the names and number of people nominated in the form. The prize includes 2 nights twin share accommodation for up to 10 people accommodated in up to 5 double rooms. A light continental breakfast will be provided daily. The prize excludes public and school holidays, is subject to availability, and not available during peak periods as defined by Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant. The winner and all other persons included in the prize will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant, as well as meals (other than those specified above), spending money and any other related costs.
  • All entries become the property of Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant.
  • The prize draw will be conducted on the 7th of December 2006 at midday. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If a winner is under 18 years of age then that prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of the winner.
  • The winner will be notified by email by 9.00pm of the day of the draw and their details (first names and suburb only) will be published on http://www.lauralla.com.au for a maximum of 7 days from the date of the draw.
  • If the prize is not claimed within 3 months, a second prize draw will take place 12 noon on the 7th of February 2007.
  • To the full extent permitted by the law neither Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant, nor any of their associated agencies accepts any liability for injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property arising from or in connection with this offer.
  • Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant respects your privacy, and will be using any personal information gained in the conduct of this trade promotion according to our published privacy policy. By entering this competition Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant will collect your personal information, and information provided by you, so that you can participate in the competition, Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant can administer the competition, Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant can notify the prize winner, Lauralla Guest House & Grapevine Restaurant can provide a regular email newsletter if indicated (with a clear opt out option).
